BABEL RADIO SHOW is currently looking for 1 PORTUGUESE-SPEAKING RADIO COLLABORATOR to be part of the PERMANENT TEAM in the
first semester of 2013/ 2014.
What is BABEL radio show?
BABEL is a radio show for Erasmus and international
students that goes on air at Radio Universidade de Coimbra (RUC), a radio
station entirely managed by students. The show aims at sharing students´
personal experiences and practical tips for university life in Coimbra. It also
promotes students’ different cultural backgrounds and their countries, as well
as other vital topics for students.
What do we expect from you?
As one of the few Portuguese members of the Permanent Team, you will
share responsibilities with the show Coordinator and your main tasks will be:
- engaging researchers and teaching staff by
promoting results of research activity and international projects;
- planning and executing a weekly segment on
research projects in course, teaming up with other team members;
- promoting the show among its different target
audiences and engaging them through social media, on air competitions and
outdoor events (stands in faculties, parties, etc);
- managing the show's identity and communication on
social networks and blog (producing and adapting contents to different
platforms).
